About Gallup

Red Rock Museum - This museum is located in Red Rock State Park just four miles east of Gallup. The museum provides a fine overview of the various Indian cultures in the Gallup region, with permanent displays of Native American pottery, weaving, jewelry making and carving. There is also an ingenious Zuni "waffle garden," an agricultural technique that makes use of every drop of precious desert water.
